#Upgrade contains 40 classic recipes of the author's grandmother, Pavlina and 39 of Kristína's, which reflect her innovative approach to cooking traditional Czech and Slovak dishes using new techniques and ingredients - hence the title, Upgrade.

In addition, there are 12 basic recipes that will come in useful for all cooking.  All the dishes are intended to be cooked at home without any professional equipment, and using ingredients that are easily available.

The 261-page hardcover cookbook, which comes nicely packed in a gift box with

a free tote bag,  will be available for purchase at the event. We are also giving away a few copies each night as prizes in a series of little Czech quizzes.
